Vice Governor Li Chuan Came to the Department to Direct Work

At morning of August 23, vice governor, Li Chuan, deputy director of general office of provincial government, Lin Jinbao, deputy director of provincial economy and trade committee, Zheng Xincong, deputy director-general of provincial personnel department Wu Xiaoying, and leaders from economy and trade section of general office of provincial government came to the department to inspect and direct work, listened to the report on current work and how the department push forward the development of information industry and informization of enterprises in the next stage. Director-general of the department, Lu Zengrong, deputy director-general of the department, Shao Yulong, Cao Jianping as well as major leaders from various divisions (offices) of department, related direct subordinate unit attended the report meeting.

At the meeting, director-general of the department Lu Zengrong, gave report on the current situation of information industry of province in the first half year, the progress of various work of department and the breakthrough of the second half year. Deputy director-general of the department, Shao Yulong, Cao Jianping, also made speech on the work they were responsible for.

After listening to the report of the department, vice governor Li Chuan considered that the department had do lots of preliminary work on pushing forward the development of information industry, it was a good beginning and should be continued. He fully appraised the department’s work in establishing public platform, improving IT matching between Fujian and Taiwan and radio management, and gave direction on the work of department in next stage: the first was to well guide the information industry; to define the advancing direction of the industry, recognize direction accurately, including project work, enhance pertinence and make object more clear, better direct the development of industry; the second was to strengthen management from the origin, especially the management of establish radio station, and try to handle and manage it from its origin, to make work more pragmatic and effective, and punish those establishing radio station illegally; the third was to push forward informization of enterprise; to organize high level research and learn from work experience of developed countries, provinces and municipalities in this respect, to define object for various stage, and have an overall plan; to better make various department have common understanding, avoid pitfalls and take shortcut, and push it forward actively. Deputy director Zheng Xincong, deputy director-general of department Wu Xiaoying accompanying the provincial leader also expressed to strengthen communication and cooperation with information industry department and push forward the development of information industry in Fujian together.
